Join us on NOAA’s Silver Spring, Maryland, campus for a series of free NOAA Heritage Week events, including engaging guest presentations, interactive exhibits, and hands-on activities for all ages. Meet and talk with scientists, weather forecasters, hurricane hunter pilots, marine archaeologists, and others who work to understand our environment, protect life and property, and conserve and protect natural resources.

Lunchtime "Mini-talks" at Gateway to NOAA
Stop into the Gateway to NOAA exhibit at 1325 East-West Highway (SSMC2) in Silver Spring, MD, for exciting lunchtime presentations. Presentations will take place throughout the week.

NOAA Open House
Please join us on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the NOAA Science Center in Silver Spring, MD, for hands-on educational activities for all ages. Click here for more information.

Gateway to NOAA Exhibit
Visit our new, free permanent Gateway to NOAA exhibit. Located just steps from the Silver Spring Metro Station at 1325 East-West Highway, Gateway to NOAA features interactive displays, engaging exhibits, and artifacts from NOAA’s 200-year history. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Also open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 11. Visit us on Facebook at
